Kickwise ("the app") is built around a simple idea: your pregnancy data is yours. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.
We don't collect your data. There is no server for it to go to. Everything you enter — pregnancy week, due date, kick sessions, timestamps, intensity, comments — is stored on your device using Apple's on-device storage. If you turn on iCloud sync (on by default, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings), that data syncs through your own private iCloud account, which only you can access. We never see it, because we never receive it.
None of this is linked to your identity by us, because we never receive it in the first place. We don't ask for your name, email, or any account — there is no account to create.
When enabled, Kickwise uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data to your own private iCloud database, so it's available across your devices. This is entirely between you and Apple, under Apple's own privacy terms for iCloud. Turning sync off in Settings keeps your data on-device only.
The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It does not go through a push notification server and involves no data leaving your device.
Kickwise lets you export your sessions as a CSV file or a PDF report, for your own records or to bring to a healthcare provider. This export happens entirely on your device and is shared only through the destination you explicitly choose (e.g. Mail, Files, AirDrop) via iOS's standard share sheet. We are not involved in that transfer.
Kickwise is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the rest of this policy: we do not collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes.
